Fat Cats
Signed by Author - Fat Cats by George Mercer is the fourth installment in the Dyed in the Green series, a gripping eco-thriller saga rooted in Canada’s national parks. When a cougar appears in British Columbia’s Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, Park Warden John Haffcut sees a chance to restore ecological balance by curbing the overpopulation of deer. But his plan is met with fierce resistance—from landowners with a “not-in-my-backyard” mindset and a notorious cougar tracker with his own agenda.
As tensions mount, John takes matters into his own hands, risking his career and the cougar’s fate in a high-stakes battle between conservation and public perception. With sharp insight and authentic detail, Mercer delivers a suspenseful tale that explores the complexities of wildlife management and the human forces that shape it.
