Reanimation takes the music of Linkin Park's breakthrough era and rebuilds it through a mix of rock, hip-hop and electronic influences. Released in 2002, the remix album reimagines material from Hybrid Theory, bringing in guest vocalists, producers and remixers for dramatically different interpretations of familiar tracks.

Rather than functioning as a conventional greatest-hits or remix collection, Reanimation reshapes the band's early sound through collaborations with artists from across rock and hip-hop. Featured contributors include Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Jonathan Davis, Aaron Lewis, Chali 2NA, Motion Man, Aceyalone and others.

Among its notable tracks are“Pts.Of.Athrty,” “Enth E Nd,” “Frgt/10,” “P5hng Me A*wy,” “My<Dsmbr,” “1stp Klosr” and“Krwlng.” The Canadian 2002 edition identified by your barcode contains 20 tracks and was issued through Warner Bros. Records.

For Linkin Park fans interested in the experimental side of the band's early catalogue, Reanimation offers a distinctive companion to Hybrid Theory and a snapshot of the crossover between alternative rock, nu metal, hip-hop and electronic production in the early 2000s.
